Key components of dry granulation machine
Feeding system: It consists of an horizontal screw feeder, which ensures continuous, stable, and uniform feeding of material into the compression roller area. It is crucial for maintaining uniform tablet density.
Compaction roller system: This is a core component, which often featuring specific patterns (such as diamond, striped) or a smooth surface, to enhance the grip and alter the tablet pressing characteristics.
Hydraulic system: It provides and precisely controls the substantial pressure applied between the two compaction rollers.
Milling (granulation) system: It consists of a crusher and a milling (granulation) device, which determines the final granule size and distribution.
Control system: Dry granulation machine utilizes PLC & touch screen control. It features precise adjustment of parameters such as feeding speed, roller pressure, roller speed (linear speed), and granulator speed.
Main adjustment parameters: Roller pressure, roller gap, feeding speed, and granulation screen mesh size. These parameters collectively determine the density, strength, output, and granularity of the granules.
